The Hamiltons took the subway to New York today so he could do some more work at the public library. They ate at a dimestore lunch counter and then took the subway home to Bronxville. Perhaps Margaret got to shop at Macy’s?

In today’s installment of The President’s Birthday Ball Affair, Missy goes dancing at the Shoreham Hotel with Ambassador Bullitt and Corey puts the squeeze on Wardlaw. Paid subscribers can read on.
