The Hamiltons drove into New York today on a number of missions. They did some shopping at Macy’s and had lunch there. In the afternoon he went to the dentist and got four fillings (ouch!). He was pleased that the bill was only $4. From there they called on a friend who worked as an announcer at Radio City Music Hall who gave them a backstage tour. After an early supper at a chain restaurant called Childs, they drove home. ”Very tired,” he concluded.
