Baby gets a sunburn; getting a tan was the height of fashion
Professor Hamilton doesn’t say how she got it, but Mary Elizabeth suffered from a “severe sun burn” today that became very painful in the evening. The Reading Times said the high on June 16 had been 84 degrees.
