Professor Hamilton's Diary: March 21, 1935
Mary Elizabeth recovering; President Roosevelt has a swimming guest
The Hamiltons were greeted with a 7 a.m. phone call from the private duty nurse they hired that Mary Elizabeth hd a good night. He went by the doctor’s office to have his infected finger dressed again, taught morning classes, then drove Margaret to the hospital to stay with the baby. After his afternoon classes, he picked his wife up and took her home. It sounds like ME’s recovery is going well.
President Roosevelt had a swimming buddy over the past few afternoons. Paid subscribers can read on about the White House pool and who he was swimming with. Click below to upgrade to paid.
