Professor Hamilton spent most of the day in bed again today, and baby Mary Elizabeth’s fever was up, necessitating visits from Dr. High and a colleague. They concluded that she was making “good progress” and her lungs were better.

With all this going on, I doubt the Hamiltons had a thought about attending a revue presented by Ina Ray Hutton and her all-girl band, the Melo-Dears, scheduled that night.
