“I gave my illustrated lecture on ‘Mexico’ to the International Relations Club in the evening in chapel,” Professor Hamilton wrote today. You may remember he had developed this slide show for the Albright College women’s auxiliary earlier in the year. About 25 students attended the talk.

The picture above appeared in the Reading Times on August 13 as the club members were headed to Syracuse University for a conference on peace. Paid subscribers can read on about the peace — or anti-war — movement on college campuses in the 1930s.
