While Professor Hamilton is silent today, there was big news in Louisville, Kentucky, where the 61st Kentucky Derby race was held. The winning horse was Omaha, which columnist Damon Runyan had described as "a big, leggy, green thing that seems to invariably get into a lot of trouble."
