Professor Hamilton never says another word about his missed encounter with fan and bubble dancer Sally Rand. Today he taught classes, picked up his car at the shop, and worked late into the evening. Margaret and the children went to the home of Dr. and Mrs. High, their physician, where Margaret played the violin with Mrs. High’s sister and the Hamilton and High children played together.
