After his busy weekend at the International Relations Clubs conference in Syracuse, it was back to the usual for Professor Hamilton. He taught his classes at Albright College and in the evening studied until midnight.

On the world stage, the hypocrisy of Hitler’s regime was on full display as a half-Jewish athlete, 25-year-old fencer Helene Mayer, was invited to join the German Olympic team for the 1936 games.
