The professor taught his morning classes at Albright College but stayed home the rest of the day, revising his thesis. Margaret went to choral society practice that night while he stayed home with the children. “We did not attend the faculty party,” he wrote. Was this because of the confict with choral practice, or was he still sensitive about the Sally Rand brouhaha and didn’t want to risk any ribbing?
