It was a Monday full of college activities for the professor today. Gwennie stayed home with a cold, but apparently she felt well enough to take a first music lesson with a Miss Beddon. You may remember the professor wasn’t happy with her progress under Helen Richards, so they may have decided on a different approach.

In other news, the reigning Miss America, Pennsylvania girl-next-door Henrietta Leaver, was mortified when a nude sculpture of her was unveiled. To learn how this happened and what she did about it, you’ll need to be a paid subscriber. (It’s worth 16 cents a day!)

The photo of 19-year-old Henrietta Leaver is being offered by a dealer on eBay.
