The professor had a quiet day of classes, then took Gwennie to her music lesson in the evening. He was pleased to receive the new issue of Evangelical Crusader, which included his article “Mexico and Church Crisis.” Professor Hamilton seems to have widely diverging interests, and Mexico is an especially strong one. I wonder if he ever had visited there?

Meanwhile, the Reading Times had started a crusade against automobile deaths following the publication of an article on the sharp rise in fatal accidents and the essay “And sudden death” the previous week.
