Professor Hamilton seldom uses exclamation points, but he did today when he wrote about his book. “Mailed contract to Columbia Univ. Press!” What a sense of accomplishment he must have felt all day as he taught classes.

The Reading Times provided a mixture of local and international news every day. The story that caught my eye today was about 5,000 wild geese playing a game of chicken with Niagara Falls.
