It was an ordinary Friday of morning classes and errands for Professor Hamilton, and a violin lesson for Margaret. β€œIn evening Mr. Neuroth was here & fixed our floor lamp,” he wrote. You may remember Mr. Neuroth was their house painter. The lamp could have looked something like this one, found on the website The Fedora Lounge.
