They buy valentines; a recipe for rabbit chop suey shared
Lowell and Thelma did some shopping uptown today, including purchases of Valentines for 25 cents and a book for 26 cents. That evening they listened to the radio and worked a crossword puzzle together. “The couple in the back apartment left yesterday,” she wrote. “He went on duty for two weeks and she went home.”
