Thelma and Lowell's Diary: Feb. 19, 1943
They take pictures in the park; Mme. Chiang Kai-shek meets the press
Lowell stopped at the meat market on his way home from working the night shift. He slept after breakfast and Thelma sewed on her green dress. In the afternoon they walked over to Audubon Park and took some pictures with the new camera her parents had sent them, then picked up groceries on the way home. They listed to the radio that night before Lowell left for work.
