Thelma and Lowell “did the usual things” today, but after supper they visited Murray Weiner and his wife, who had moved into an apartment in a house on their corner (Webster Street at Coliseum). Murray worked at the submarine range with Lowell. The couples lived in a neighborhood about three blocks from Audubon Park, a place Thelma and Lowell will often visit in the year to come. They stayed at the Weiners’ home until 10 p.m.
