They make ice cream; 'The Batman' serial premieres in theaters
It was a Friday. Thelma and Lowell went to the grocery store, and then she came home and pressed the clothes she had washed the day before. That evening, Lowell got some ice and they made ice cream. “Just been having a lunch in the evenings,” she wrote, and I would guess this was because of the heat. Who felt like cooking and consuming a big meal in a hot and humid Louisiana summer, especially after slaving over a hot ironing board?
