Thelma and Lowell's Diary: July 17, 1943
They store their winter clothes and listen to the radio; perhaps they heard 'The Man Behind the Gun'
Lowell seems to have had some time off, as Thelma has not mentioned him going to work the past few days. Today, a Saturday, he helped her clean out drawers and “stored some heavy clothes in suitcases upstairs.” They spent a rainy evening at home and listened to the radio.
