They spend money on rides; President signs extended Lend-Lease bill
Thelma and Lowell must have been sight-seeing again today, because they spent a small fortune on “rides.” The total came to $3.58, compared to less than a quarter on most days. That’s almost $62 in current funds! Wish I knew where they went.
At the White House, President Roosevelt signed a bill extending the Lend-Lease Act until June 30, 1944.
