Lowell was working a 12-hour shift beginning at 7 p.m. so he spent his morning working in their garden. Thelma did some laundry and after he left she washed her hair and listened to the Lux Radio Theater program. Tonight’s program was a one-hour version of the movie Now, Voyager, with Ida Lupino taking the part Bette Davis had and co-star Paul Heinreid (Victor Laszlo in Casablanca) reprising his film role.
