Once again Thelma and Lowell disappoint us by posting only their expenses for rides and eats (a whopping $3.16). However, the new issue of Life magazine was on the newstands and was packed with information about the war and the latest fashion, the “half-hat,” modeled by a sophisticated cover girl.
