Thelma and Lowell are back to listing expenses and giving us no other hint of their experiences today. Rides, 14 cents and Eats, 10 cents.
While the Times-Picayune was mostly focused on war news, including the imminent fall of Naples to the Allies, a small news item from Atlanta on page 11 intrigued me enough to do an investigation into “the rest of the story.” Paid subscribers can read about the murder of prominent banker Henry C.
